So...

I guess no one liked that Obama would probably end up puking before McCain in a bar room drinking contest? Although, maybe, you do not find that important in a presidential candidate....

Not much going on. Caroline still does not like going to camp, but has a lot of fun there. She whimpered the entire drive to camp this morning (only 10 mins, but enough to make me feel bad). Did learn a good lesson though. Since the crying thing started last Wednesday I have made the goodbye shorter and shorter and it has taken her much less time to calm down each day the goodbye is less. Thinking totally messed up the first day when I stayed and held her and tried to calm her down. Should have just handed her over. It gives her too much time to think about it and get more worked up and obviously (although it took me three drop offs and a weekend) more time to calm down. She did say she had a good time and that a cow came to visit them (Chick-Fil-A). That was good because they gave her a little stuffed cow that her and Owen then got to fight over for a majority of the afternoon.

On a bright note over the weekend when we were saying prayers before dinner and we go around and say what we are thankful for and instead of the usual "Caroline and Owen" from Caroline she looked at me and said "my mommy". It was really nice.

On a not so bright note although he is not actually sick, Owen has been producing some of the nastiest diapers ever the last few days. Yuck. He has also started following little commands, which is lots of fun. Now when I ask him to put his shoes on or find his sippy he does! Very fun to watch.
