Okay, so, today our Friday playgroup is meeting at the park since the person hosting wanted it to double as a birthday party and be something different. Problem????? It is currently 92 (feels like 96) outside and this park does not have any shade on the equipment, although it does have a pavilion with picnic tables. On warm days (or cool with the sun shining) Caroline refuses to go down the slide because it gets so hot.
So, I am watching my email hoping the light bulb will go off and she will actually think about this and change it to her house. My gut says she is clueless how hot the park can get since she works most of the week and does not often take her daughter. Another thought though just occurred, she is pregnant with twins due in August. How comfortable is she going to be out there?
I know it sounds bad, but thinking we will just stop by for a few minutes and drop off the gift say hi to everyone and then sweat it out on the walk back home. We will be bringing our brand new squirt bottles that fascinate Caroline. She absolutely loves playing with water, so we got one for her and one for Owen (have to be fair, even if he does not play with it) and she has been "cleaning" the back French doors. Apparently they are "really really dirty".

Yuck! Hope you get to stay inside! It was cool in Albany today but as soon as I stepped off the plane in Cleveland I could feel the heat!
Sounds like fun! J/K
