Called Beta "bates" this afternoon for short. Cracked Caroline up. She could barely explain what was so funny and then ran around the rest of the afternoon saying "hi, bates" and laughing at herself. She also hit me right before bed. When she was saying sorry and giving me a hug to apologize, I told her it also hurt inside and pointed at my heart. She proceeded to lean down and kiss my chest.
Owen is hopefully teething. If not then he is getting sick. Lesson learned - never say hopefully no one will get sick (see day one - an update below).
Oh, and never do a blog entry when your husband is reading over your shoulder. He corrects my punctuation.
