Yikes!

Since it has been almost a month since my last post thought I should write something. Not much to say though. Everything has been pretty much the same. Staying busy with the kids.

Caroline is sick right now as is most of her school. She did go Monday and Tuesday and the numbers from her class were not very encouraging. When she told me 6 people were IN class and 9 were OUT SICK on Monday I knew it was just a matter of time - 4am on Wednesday. It has not been that bad. Owen went to school on Wednesday and Caroline and I cuddled on the coach and watched Wizard of Oz. It was lots of fun to watch with her even though we did fast forward through most of the time in Oz. Once they met the wizard Caroline got started to say it was scary and most of that is pretty boring so we fast forwarded to the near end with the hot air balloon and Dorothy going home. It was really cute, esp when she asked where all the color was at the beginning.

Owen's teacher told me Wednesday that he needs to work on his listening ears. No kidding. He listens to no one. He makes you think he is listening when you tell him to stop something and he says "okay" all happy, but then he just goes on to something else he is not suppose to do. When you follow him over there, he just moves on until he is eventually back to the first thing. Ugh. He is really cute though and gives great hugs so it is hard to stay mad.

Matt is traveling pretty much all week this week. He did come back Tuesday so he could be here for Wednesday morning's Doughnuts for Dads with Caroline's class. He has had a hard hold on his calendar since finding out about this the beginning of September. Meaning no one could go in and try to plan anything during that time. Obviously they did not make it since she woke up at 4am with a fever. Nice how things work out sometimes. It was good to have him back for a night though.

Not much else going on. This weekend should be pretty busy. If the rain holds out Caroline has a soccer game Saturday morning. Then our neighbors are having a Halloween party that afternoon. Looking very forward to that and hoping no one is sick. It was lots of fun last year. Then Sunday Matt and I were invited to go to the Panthers game with a lawyer Matt works with who we have become friends with. Him and his wife are really nice. Hoping the seats are in the suite, but Matt told me not to get my hopes up. Darn.

Hope everyone is doing good. Perhaps I will attempt another blog entry before the middle of November.
